‘Hire Loudoun’ Showcases Jobs with Top Employers Closer to Home
Dozens of Loudoun County’s top employers are expected to have career opportunities available at the “Hire Loudoun” career fair on Saturday, September 21, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Northern Virginia Community College’s Loudoun Campus.
Now in its fourth installment, this is the first time that “Hire Loudoun” will be held on a weekend, which is expected to boost attendance. Job seekers signups have already surpassed 200 with more than three weeks remaining before the event.
“Loudoun is home to one of the most educated workforces in the country. Right now, approximately half of that workforce leaves the county for employment every morning, facing emotionally and financially-draining commutes,” said Loudoun Economic Development’s Executive Director Buddy Rizer. “The ‘Hire Loudoun’ career fair is designed to bridge the gap between an ideal candidate and a dream job close to home.”
Loudoun Economic Development is hosting the “Hire Loudoun” career fair in partnership with the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce, Northern Virginia Community College, Loudoun Workforce Resource Center and Virginia Career Works.
